Peanut Butter has been around since the late 1900’s. It has become increasingly popular in many recipes and is so popular that 700 million pounds of peanut butter are consumed in the USA each year. That’s about 3 pounds per person! Along with almost every fudge, this type has it’s own holiday on November 20th. It also maintains it’s rank in the top five most favorite fudge flavors according to Murdick’s Fudge.

My Tips:

Peanut Butter fudge is my number one favorite fudge. It’s a CLASSIC! Just the hearing of the words “peanut butter fudge” makes me drool like a dog. Talk about delicious. This was the fudge, that my sisters and I often got on our trips to the sporting goods store. Recently, my sister took it upon herself and attempted to make this recipe, which turned out wonderful. It was identical to what you could buy at a store and it was super easy. When you bite into this fudge classic, it immediately melts in your mouth. It’s super creamy and smooth, so much so that you barely have to chew. I think this a great edition to any holiday meal or banquet, but I particularly love it for a rainy day.

One thing I would recommend when making this recipe, is to make sure that your fudge gets to cool completely before serving. If not completely cool, it will be runny and hard to handle. One thing that is also an option, is to use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy. I think both are equally as delicious, it just comes to if you like having that crunch.
