
After making this recipe I have some recommendations. This particular recipe is more complicated than other modernized recipes so I would be cautious that you follow the directions carefully. I would recommend having all your ingredients ready like the butter and chopped chocolate because once the mixture is hot the process goes fast. You won’t have time to scramble ingredients together.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups granulated white sugar
- 1 cup cream
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
- Combine sugar and cream and cook over medium heat
- When this gets very hot, add chopped chocolate. Stir Constantly
- Cook until mixture reaches a soft-ball stage (234°-238°F)
- Remove from heat and add butter
- Slightly cool, then mix until fudge starts to thicken.
- Transfer to a buttered tin.
- Cut into diamond-shaped pieces before fudge hardens completely.
- Let the fudge harden and then ENJOY!
